Maps of the trail

The Twin Cities Rail Trail is a 4.7-mile link that will ultimately connect downtown Fitchburg and downtown Leominster. The first phase of the trail opened in June, 2022, runs from First Street in Fitchburg to Carter Park in Leominster. The second phase, marked in red on the map below, is currently in design, scheduled for bid this fall. Parking is available at Benson Street in Fitchburg and at Doyle Field and Carter Park in Leominster. When the full trail is complete, parking also will be available at the MBTA train station in Fitchburg. You may download a PDF of this map here.
